Spa Etiquette & Policies

Reservations

We recommend scheduling your appointment as far in advance as possible to ensure availability and the best time arrangement.
 
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment time, so that we may start your service on time. We will do our best to accommodate late arrivals, however, the length of your services may be reduced to not interrupt the scheduled appointments of our other guests. You will be responsible to pay full price of scheduled services regardless of whether you are late and miss your time, please plan accordingly.
 
To accommodate your desired appointment, a Credit Card or Gift Certificate number is required at the time of booking to guarantee your reservation.
 
*Please notify the spa coordinator of any allergies or sensitivities to aromas or ingredients when you schedule your appointment so we can plan accordingly.
 

Cancellation Policies and Fees

Every day we look forward to be at service for all who come to our spa. Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you. We value your time and the time of our therapists and ask that you respect the spa's scheduling policies.
 
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your appointments, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance; 48 hours notice is required to cancel or reschedule parties of two or more, or single party having three or more treatments. This will allow the Spa enough time to fill the appointments time spot.
 
When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the opportunity to serve other clients who could have scheduled an appointment during that time. Additionally, sometimes our therapists will travel to the spa specifically for your service. For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our therapists for their time as well as make up for the lost revenue. The spa is obligated to pay its therapists even if a client is a "no-show". Our cancelation policy allows us to retain great employees.
 
Any cancellations with less than 24 hours of notice are subject to a cancelation fee amounting to the cost of the scheduled service. Clients who miss their appointments without giving any prior notification will be charged in full for the scheduled services.
 
When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies. Please have your credit card and/or gift certificate ready at the time of booking an appointment to guarantee a reservation. You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show. Upon checkout, guests may choose their method of payment.
 

Group Bookings

For parties of three or more, please contact our Spa coordinator for group booking policies and availability. A completed contract and deposit are required to secure your appointment and arranged pricing. A 20% gratuity will be added to all spa parties. Exclusive use of the Spa is available; please inquire for fees and available dates.
 

Cell Phones

To preserve the tranquility of the Spa, we kindly ask that you turn your cell phones off upon arrival and to remember to speak in your very soft voice once you enter the spa. Please inform your therapist should you need to make a phone call so that you may do so without disturbing other guests.
 

Prices and Services

Prices and services are subject to change without notice. We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.
 

Gift Certificate Policy

Gift Certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased at the spa, by phone at 907-222-3601 or through our website www.adagio-spa.com.Out of town? We will mail your gift certificate to you. All Gift Certificate purchases are final and non-refundable. Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash. Gift certificates have a one year expiration date after which they are no longer valid.
 

Gratuity

Gratuity is not included in the price of service or spa packages. Customary tipping for each service provider is 15% to 20% . You may leave any gratuity upon check out . Tipping envelopes for cash gratuities are provided at the front desk or you may add gratuity to your credit card. With parties of 3 or more a 20% gratuity will be added to the final bill.
 

Personal Belongings

Please leave all jewelry and valuable items at home. Adagio Day spa is not responsible for lost or misplaced items.
 

Spa Promotions

Spa specials cannot be used in combination with any other offer, promotions or third party gift certificates.
 

Return Policy

It is our mission to provide you with the highest-quality of skin and body care products with your services. In the event you purchase any of our spa products for home use and find them to be defective or have an allergic reaction, we will exchange any products within 14 days of purchase. We cannot provide cash refunds for returned products. Instead a spa credit will be provided for any returned products to be used on any other products or spa services available here at Adagio Day Spa.
 

Children

To maintain our serene atmosphere, we ask that you not bring children to Adagio Day Spa. We do however allow children to enjoy certain spa treatments under the following guidelines: children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and all children under the age of 18 must have an adult sign their initial consultation form. It is the adult's responsibility to monitor the child's behavior.
 

Late Arrivals

Please keep in mind that arriving late for a service may require us to shorten the length of the services, with full charges applied, so as not to inconvenience other guests to follow.
 
We regret that late arrivals may not have extended scheduled service and will be responsible for the full service charges.
 

Loss or Damage (Personal Belongings)

We regret that we are not responsible for lost or damaged personal belongings. We strongly recommend that you take your valuables and personal items with you to the room where you are being served. To protect your clothing, we also ask you to wear the gowns provided for your convenience.
 

Health Conditions

Please inform us at the time of booking of any health condition, allergies, injuries or special requirements, which may affect your services when booking your spa.
 

Permanent Makeup Policy

We require a consultation before any reservation of permanent make-up service. This is to make sure we know what you are looking for, as a client, and to make sure that we can provide realistic expectations based on your wants, needs, and health history. Upon approval of your request, you may reserve your service.
